I joined Finnies in 1997 after gaining my AAT qualification and studying for CIOT. whilst working in the Tax department of a local accountants. I briefly left Finnies for a couple of years and spent some time working for a FTSE top 250 company where I was responsible for preparing the directors and senior management salaries and related matters, plc management accounts, plc annual budget and intercompany transactions.

In 2013, I returned fully working for Finnies, where I now oversee all matters to do with Personal tax. The same year I also founded our subsidiary company, Stipendia Payroll Solutions. I recognised the need for dedicated payroll and pension specialists and chose to base the company around this. Since then Stipendia has gone on to provide services and specialist knowledge for various business sectors including dentistry and manufacturing, and we have also worked to implement auto enrolment pension schemes to the smaller businesses.

Outside of work, you’ll find me Olympic weight lifting, competing nationally and internationally. and following our son’s football team. I also enjoying spending time with family and friends dining out.
